This 8x10 inches giclee print has a 1 inch border surrounding a 6x8 inch watercolor painting. The original watercolor has been sold.

The subject was painted from a photo reference and is reminiscent of of the French impressionist painter Edward Degas series depicting Ballet dancers. My emphasis was in creating volume using light and color hues. I am pleased with the atmosphere and the mood created by the dark background and the light highlighting the dancers pause to readjust her left shoe.
